How did I get so lucky,

There is something special
about a father's love.
Seems it was sent to me
from someplace up above.

A father’s love has something special about it. It is as if it was sent from above– heaven. It is something you can not buy on earth.

Stanza 4

Our love is everlasting,
I just wanted you to know.
That you're my special hero
and I wanted to tell you so.

A father and daughter’s love is everlasting and eternal. The poetess says that she just wants him to know that he is her special hero. No one can replace him and she will always love him.
