Hello and good morning everyone. I’m here to give a speech on cleanliness. Laxmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth and money, is said to live in places where cleanliness remains. As a result, Indian culture places a high value on cleanliness and hygiene. Additionally, seeing a spotless place or house is pleasing to the eye. Maintaining cleanliness is essential for a healthy lifestyle. Cleaning is another habit that successful individuals have. Cleanliness is the second most telling quality about a person’s character after hard work.
Since the country’s new government took office in 2014, cleanliness has received a whole new level of attention thanks to the “Swachh Bharat Mission.” By 2030, the “Swachh Bharat Mission” hopes to have the entire nation clean. Additionally, Shri Mahatma Gandhi, our nation’s leader, consistently encouraged all citizens to keep their surroundings clean.
Understanding the importance of cleanliness in preserving the health of the family and the entire country is not difficult. As many germs are created by poor hygiene it also causes a number of severe diseases that ultimately have an impact on the health of the entire country.
Not only is cleanliness important, but it can also develop into a habit. When you observe someone or a tidy home, you are inspired to do the same in your own surroundings. Therefore, we should encourage many people to embrace cleanliness measures by encouraging promotion or conducting awareness campaigns through commercials, banner hoarding, etc., increasing knowledge on the usage of fewer plastics and more recycled and biodegradable items.
