Subject: Application for the Position of a Dining Hall Prefect
Sir,
The school had recently put up notices for appointing new prefects for the academic session of 2023-24. I am very interested in becoming a part of the student council and would like to apply for the position of the dining hall prefect. I am a student of class 11, and I believe I have the qualities to become a great prefect.
I am hard working and disciplined, and would carry out my responsibilities to the best of my abilities. I have been a part of the student council before, since I was the monitor of my class in both class 9 and 10. As a result, I know how to deal with other students and make them behave. I am especially good at dealing with unruly students.
Thus, I will be able to maintain discipline and order in the dining hall as a prefect, and this will be of great help to the teachers and the rest of the student council as well. As a hostel resident, I have always greatly admired dining hall prefects for sacrificing their mealtimes to help out others and maintain order in the dorms.
Thus, I would be overjoyed if you appoint me as a dining hall prefect. I am friendly and cheerful and will get along perfectly with the rest of the student council. I will aid the student council to the best of my ability and help make the school and dorms more orderly and disciplined. I really hope you consider my application and hire me for the position.
