Google defines a mother to be “a woman in relation to her child or children.” This impersonal sentence does not encapsulate who my mother is!
Maya Angelou said, “To describe my mother would be to write about a hurricane in its perfect power. Or the climbing, falling colours of a rainbow.” Indeed, my mother is just that, a force all by herself!
From nurturing me, showering me with affection, and guiding me in each and every step of my life, my mother is irreplaceable.
This “Mother’s Day”, on the 14th of May, I plan to gift her a lovely coffee mug!
