A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of moral values.

Before looking at what is moral, allow me to elaborate on what �values� are. Google defines values to be �principles or standards of behaviour; one’s judgement of what is important in life.� From this, it can be understood that values are unmistakably crucial in one�s life.

How does morals or morality fit in here? Google defines the term �moral� to be �concerned with the principles of right and wrong behaviour.�

Hence, moral values are important decisions in life that pertain to what is considered right or acceptable in a particular society. It also deals with, as Google articulately puts it, �examining the nature of ethics and the foundations of good and bad character and conduct.�

Moral values are crucial in one�s life. Good moral values such as honesty, courage, hard work, compassion, gratitude, and respect help build one�s character positively.
