I am writing this application most humbly and respectfully to inform you that my son, Shivansh, who is in 8th standard in your school, has been down with fever for the past two days. The doctor has advised bed rest to him for one week. He is not in a condition to attend the school so I am writing this application on his behalf to please grant him a sick leave for about one week. He shall join after recovering.
