Subject – Application for the request of leave for my husband admitted to the hospital
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for three days i.e. 15th of May 2022 till the 17th of May 2022 because of my husband who has been suddenly admitted to the hospital. My husband was recently complaining of a stomach ache for the past few days. There was nothing that seemed too severe about it as well. He went to work as usual for the past few days. Yesterday, however, I got a sudden phone call from his workplace telling me he collapsed and that he was taken to Global hospital. Based on what the doctor said, he will be admitted for the next three days. Concerning this, I would like to take leave for the next three days to care for my husband. I will be back to resume my work by the 18th of May 2022. I have requested Mr. John to take care of the necessary work while in my absence.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
