Sub: Application for leave for Durga Puja
Sir,
With due respect and honor, I would like to state that I would like to take leave for 4 days i.e. 20th of October 2023 till the 24th of October because of Druga Puja. It is a very important event for the Hindus all over the world. Durga Puja is celebrated to mark the victory of Goddess Durga over Mahishasur, a demon.
This event is very important for my family and we would like to celebrate it together with my first cousin and grandparents who live out of state. This will be the very first celebration of Durga together as a family. I have requested Sir Jonas to take care of the necessary work during my absence and he happily accepted to do so. I will be back by the 25th of October 2023 with no delay and put extra effort into the time lost.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me leave for which I shall remain ever grateful.
