This is Kiran F from your 9th grade C class. I am writing this letter to apologise to you for being absent from class the previous day. I was absent because I had to accompany my mother to the hospital. My mother was not well, as she was having a fever. There was nobody else available who could accompany her.
Therefore, I had to miss the class and go along with her. As I was absent yesterday, I couldn’t attend the test session that you scheduled earlier. I was absent due to an unavoidable circumstance. I kindly request that you accept my apology.
I promise you that I won’t repeat this mistake again and that I will behave responsibly. Also, I would like to request a re-exam for me, as the results of this test will be added to our final scores.
