This is Neeta F from your 9th grade B class. I am writing this letter to apologise to you for not attending the parents’ meeting. I couldn’t attend the parent meeting that happened the previous Saturday because I had to attend a football match. I was a member of the team that had to play. It was decided earlier, and I couldn’t back out of the match.
Though it was a parent’s meeting, there was a notice from the principal that students must also be present along with the parents. I am very sorry that my father had to attend the meeting without me. I am also very sorry for not following the principal’s notice. I kindly request that you accept my apology. I promise you that I won’t repeat this mistake again and will be responsible.
