How are you? We are doing well here. How are your studies going? The 11th of July is observed as World Population Day. This day is observed by the United Nations to focus on the importance of population issues. Our country is the second-most populated country in the world, and it is said that within a span of a few years, it will become the first-most populated country on the globe. This will definitely add to our nation’s unity and strength but can have bad effects as well. Overexploitation of natural resources, conflicts and war, unemployment, and so on are some of the negative consequences. As the population increases, there will be an increase in the need for food, water, clothes, etc. Resources available on earth may not be sufficient to satisfy the needs of all. This will lead to conflicts and wars between the countries. When the population increases, job opportunities decrease, giving rise to unemployment. This can cause a rise in crime, theft, etc. Thus, overpopulation has serious issues. What are your thoughts about it?
