Hope you are fine. My sister got a new job as a content writer in of the prominent women’s magazine. As part of women’s day edition, magazine published her article about a great woman. I got a chance to read the article. She wrote about Taisy Thomas, first ever women scientist to head a missile project in India. Ms Thomas is a scientist at DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization). A postgraduate in engineering, she started her career in DRDO, working on the design and developments of new generation ballistic missile, Agni. She was the project director of Agni III, Agni IV and Agni V missile projects. She is an inspiration for all the girls and women in our country who wish to set their foot strong in science field.
