This is Aswanth F of your class, 8B. I am writing this letter to ask for an immediate three-day leave. I received a call from my father saying that my grandfather had passed away this morning and the funeral would take place this evening.
I kindly request that you grant me a leave of three days so that I can go back to my village to see my grandfather for the last time and take part in his funeral. I am asking for three days because I have to take part in the funeral and other services that will take place in the following days.
I will make sure that I go through the portions that will be taught on the day of my absence and complete the notes as well.
