This is Maya F of your class 9th C. I am writing this letter to explain the reasons for my absence from class on the 8th and 9th of this month. My grandmother passed away on the night of 7/10/2022. I have to take leave to take part in the funeral. Moreover, I am deeply affected by the sudden death of my grandmother.
She adored and loved me completely. My mental health was weak following her passing. I took one more day off to clear my mind, to be calm, and to build mental strength. At present, I am fine. I respectfully request that you accept this letter as my leave letter and allow me to attend class beginning today, October 13, 2022.
I will make sure that I go through the portions taught on my day of absence and complete the notes as well.
