Rubber in the simplest words can be defied as an elastic, waterproof substance made either from the juice of a tree that grows in hotter parts of the world or artificially. According to recent studies of 2021, Thailand is the one country that has the largest rubber plantation in the world. Adding to which this country produced 4.83 million metric tons of natural rubber in 2021.
Rubbers are useful to the everyday working of the world. It is used in medical devices, surgical gloves, aircraft and car tires, pacifiers, clothes, toys and lots more. Another well-known fact about rubber which one should be well aware of is its disadvantage as well. As much as there are to its advantages, one of the biggest limitations of natural rubber is its poor resistance to hydrocarbons, fats, oils, and greases.
