Wikipedia defines the term to be as follows: “A village is a clustered human settlement or community, larger than a hamlet but smaller than a town, with a population typically ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand.”
This matter-of-fact statement does not begin to encompass my village!
My village is one that is beautiful. Lush with the greenery of trees, plants, and fields, it is a sight for sore eyes!
Everyone knows everyone here, giving one a sense of family and brotherhood. Oh, to breathe in this clean air and go strolling along the river while whistling hearing the birds chirp!
