Drugs and alcohol can lead to addiction. It can cause a lot of problems at home and in the society as well. It ca also ruin allot of relationships in the process and one can go into severe depression and anxiety which results to one taking one’s own life; suicide. It is extremely important to keep a good mental health, this is because the majority reason one goes to drugs and alcohol is due to poor mental health. If anyone is in such a state, one must advise him or her to go and get counseling. Use and abuse of drugs and alcohol by teens is very common and can have serious consequences. In India, the largest numbers of heroin abusers were found in Uttar Pradesh. Unfortunately it has been stated that about 1.58 crore children aged between 10 and 17 years are addicted to substances in the country.
