Cows are large, domesticated, cloven-hooved, herbivores. Some refer to them as cattle while some refer to them as cows. The difference is that the word “cattle” is plural without regard to sex, whereas the word “cows” refers only to mature female bovines. The males are called bulls or steers.
Cows have a panoramic vision. In Hinduism, cows are worshipped, they are considered as holy animals, and they symbolise wealth, strength, and motherly love. They have such a powerful sense of smell and can smell something up to 6 miles away.
