Computers have come a long way since 1943. And to date has done us a great deal of work. Charles Babbage is known as the father of computers for he invented the first computer. However, in India, on 21st January 1969, the first electronic digital computer built in India was commissioned at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) by Vikram Sarabhai.
