Cinema in the simplest definition can be said as a place where people go to watch films or plays for entertainment purposes. Cinema is from the French cinématographe which comes in part from the greek kinema, meaning movement. The very first demonstration given of cinema was in the year 1895 on December 28.
As for India, the first introduction was given by Dhundiraj Govind Phalke in the late 1910s. Cinema played a huge role during that time and even now. It teaches us about varied cultures and it introduces various art forms and knowledge. It can be a well-known fact that cinema is a major source of recreation in the world today.
