A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of exercise.
Google defines exercise, that is, physical exercise as a noun, not a verb to be “activity requiring physical effort, carried out to sustain or improve health and fitness.”
The very definition points out the importance of exercise. It is, as the meaning so aptly states, to “sustain or improve health and fitness.”
Now exercise, I would like to reiterate, is for fitness, not to remain “slim” or to achieve any beauty standards. It helps improve the health of the body by reducing the rate of getting affected by diseases and other ailments.
Studies also point out that exercise alleviates stress and enhances mental health. It is even said to increase memory power. It also combats anxiety and depression and is observed to help regulate the sleep schedule of a person. Regular exercise thus increases the longevity of life.
