Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of the “Importance of Education in the English Language”.
Education today is widely taught by means of the English language and learned as such. This becomes important as with the numerous languages spoken across the globe, it becomes crucial to establish uniformity and standard.
Across the world, nearly 7,100 languages, with about 50 undocumented and 3,045 endangered, which is a shocking 41% of the whole. While this is indeed an issue that is alarming by itself, it is all the more important to address the need for establishing unity across the education systems of the world.
The English language, whereas, is the most common tongue spoken across the countries of the world, with it being the official language of 67 of them. Thus, English becomes the ideal language to educate in and form an equal base across the globe.
