A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ’Save Water’.
You might ask, “But, water is a renewable source of energy. Why must we save water?”
Yes, water is a renewable source indeed. However, we must remember that even though 70% of the world is made of water, the majority of it is salty in nature. Science has not evolved enough today to make ocean water consumable so our usage will be limited to the remaining freshwater resources.
Having said that, excessive usage of water is thus never advisable. It would eventually result in acute water shortage and widespread droughts, which would lead to famines and epidemics!
We must always bear in mind that without water, our very sustenance would be in question. Hence, we must always find means to save water.
Close the taps in your homes after use and don’t leave them running. Use water judiciously.
