A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I�ll be giving a short speech on the topic �Current Education System in India�.
The current education system in India is not one that is healthy or good. Education has been turned into a mindless rat race.
The purpose of education is no longer to gain knowledge but to �score good grades� in order to �get good careers�. Learning, as a whole, is lost in the pursuit of memorizing the correct answers and remembering �key terms� and �important questions�. In this way, no learning is happening!
We need to revert back to the Gurukula system. With its hands-on approach, students would be able to actually learn in a practical way.
Let us all unite and do away with this mindless process of learning and the bloodthirsty battle for marks!
