Subject: Letter regarding cleanliness
Sir/Madam,
Through an article in your newspaper, I would like to shed some light and bring awareness on the topic of cleanliness.
Cleanliness is a vital part of the well being of any locality. It keeps the environment healthy and fresh. I have been noticing a lot of uncleanliness in my surroundings lately. My neighbors have turned to laziness in the winter season and keep throwing trash directly on the road.
There is also a lack of cleanliness workers from the government side and as a result, the waste in the garbage cans has started to rot. One can imagine the kind of unhealthy environment that is created by such activities. The drains and potholes are also yet to be cleaned by any workers. These are some issues that must be resolved quickly.
The column of your newspaper will help this issue reach the concerned authorities so that they can help the people of my locality.
