Subject: Half day leave for mother illness
Good morning sir,
Lately, my mother has succumbed to terminal illness. There is no one to check upon her and I have taken the responsibility to take care of her. I have assigned a maid to cater her needs but today she will not be there to take care of her due to some emergency . I have no one else to seek help, so I have to be with her. I’m writing this leave application to request you to let me skip today’s rest of the classes so that I can be with my mother today. Thank you for considering my leave application. I hope you understand my situation and accept my request.
