Respected sir,
I am delighted to inform you that my wife, Harinipiya, and I have had a baby girl. As a result, I respectfully request that you grant me paternity leave for two weeks beginning today.
While I am away, I have asked my colleague, K Ishaan, to handle any client inquiries or issues on my behalf. I’ve also delegated to him/her all continuing work on my present project.
I would like you to authorise my leave so that I can notify the Human Resources department that I am taking paid paternity leave.
