Subject: Leave Application for Shraddha Ceremony
Respected Madam,
With humility, I would like to bring to your kind notice the upcoming death anniversary of my grandfather who passed away last year on 8th December, 2021 due to cardiac arrest. He was very close to me and everyday seems incomplete without him. We all miss him so much.
Hence, I, Anil Shah, Sales Head, hereby request you to grant me a leave on 8th December, 2022 as I have to attend my grandfather’s shraddha ceremony. The entire family has decided to organise a prayer service in his memory and remember him with cherished memories, followed by lunch.
I want to be with my family on this day to give them strength and to tribute a day in my grandfather’s memory and spend it the way he would have wanted us to. I have already completed my work assigned for that day. Moreover, I assure you that I shall be present on 8th December, 2022.
I will be grateful to you for accepting my leave application.
