Subject: Leave for Attending Brother’s Death Anniversary
Respected Madam,
With humility, I would like to bring to your kind notice the upcoming death anniversary of my brother who untimely passed away last year on 28th November, 2021 due to cardiac arrest. Hence, I, Sunita, Sales Head, hereby request you to grant me a leave on 28th November, 2022 as I have to attend my brother’s death anniversary. The entire family has decided to organize a prayer service in his memory and remember him with cherished memories, followed by lunch. I want to be with my family on this day to give them strength and to tribute a day in my brother’s memory and spend it the way he would have wanted it to. I have already completed my work assigned for that day. Moreover, I assure you that I shall be present on 29th November, 2022.
