Subject – Application for the request of leave for my daughter’s mudan ceremony
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to request a leave of two days i.e. the 6tth and the 7th of May 2022 to attend my daughter’s mudan ceremony. In the mudan ceremony, the mundan ceremony, a barber is assigned the task of shaving off the baby’s hair. The Mundan ceremony is performed because of a belief that the hairs that the baby is born with, actually carry the undesired traits of the past life. I will have to make all the necessary arrangements for the ceremony. This auspicious event is extremely important for my family. I would love to be there for my family and my son, especially during such an occasion. I will be back by the 10th of May 2022 to resume my work.
