Subject – Application for the request of leave due to my sister’s illness.
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for two days i.e. 6th and the 7th of June 2022 because of my sister’s illness. My mother, aged 7, has been suffering from a severe cold and cough with fever for a few days now. She has been taking medicine however, there has not been any improvement so far.
This illness made her body weak leading to no appetite. We consulted the doctor through a call and we were advised to schedule an appointment with her and see to it at the earliest before her illness gets worse. With this, I would like to take leave for two days to care for my sister and take her to the hospital for a check-up.
We currently are in a very tight position especially because we have no other family support. I will be back to resume my work by the 8th of June 2022 with no delay. I have requested Mr. Sammy to take care of the necessary work while I’m on leave. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my absence.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
