Subject – Application for the request of leave due to my mother’s illness.
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for two days i.e. 6th and the 7th of June 2022 because of my mother’s illness. My mother has been suffering from a severe cold and cough with a fever for a few days now. She has been taking medicine however, there has not been any improvement so far.
This illness made her body weak leading her to have no appetite. Yesterday, she fainted while taking a walk and that alerted the rest of the family members. She also had low blood pressure which I believe had a huge role play in her health degradation. We consulted the doctor through a call and we were advised to schedule an appointment with her and see to it at the earliest before her illness gets worse.
My siblings are currently working out of town and will be back only the day after tomorrow. We plan on taking turns looking after her since we have no other family support. With this, I would like to take leave for two days to care for my mother and take her to the hospital for a check-up. I will be back to resume my work by the 8th of June 2022. I have requested Mr. Sammy to take care of the necessary work while I’m on leave. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my time lost.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
