Subject – Application for leave for mother’s illness
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that my wife has been suffering from a severe stomach ache for the past week. It wasn�t as severe as it was yesterday. The pain made her lose consciousness and we had to rush her to the hospital. After a series of tests, we found that she has a severe urine infection.
We were given medication by the doctor and were asked to take bed rest. We were asked to visit after two days. My family has a maid, however, our maid had gone to her hometown for some personal work leaving us with no help. I would like to take leave for a week i.e. 5th of November 2022 till the 11th of November 2022 to take care of my mother. \
I will be back to resume my work on the 12th of November 2022 with no delay. I have requested Mr. Kent to do the required work for the upcoming project. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my absence.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain ever grateful.
