I hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. Today, I am writing to tell you about the bad effects of environmental pollution. Environmental pollution is a word that we have been studying about since our childhoods. It has been that for the longest time, just another topic to learn about. But recently, I have been seeing the bad effects of pollution all around me. I went to visit Delhi for a week and the air quality there is very bad. There are also parts of this country where water is becoming a scarcity. Every summer people have to struggle to even obtain drinking water. The picture of the whole world is even worse. Smoke and dirt from the factories have destroyed the air and water. Moreover, the cutting of trees has led to severe deforestation. This will continue to get worse until we change our habits.
I believe that changing our habits at home can contribute to the betterment of the environment. Take care.
