Dear Sai,
I hope you and your family are in good health and are happy. I’m writing to tell you about an unpleasant travel experience I had. I was going to attend the wedding of one of my friends’ sisters. I decided to travel by public bus to reach the wedding venue. It will take only an hour to reach the venue from my home.
I left home after making sure that I took everything—my purse, phone, and bag. I board the bus. The bus was crowded, and I had to stand as I did not get a seat. While going to open my bag to take the money for the ticket, I found that my bag was already open and my purse was missing.
I informed the bus conductor, and at the same time, one person suddenly got off the bus. He was being chased by the other passengers and got caught. He had my purse, and the police took him into custody on charges of robbery. I thanked everyone who helped me. But I got late for the wedding.
