Dear Vriksha,
I hope you and your family are in good health and are happy. Me and my family, my aunt and her family, and my grandparents—all of us went on a three-day trip to Pondicherry last week. We got back from the trip two days ago. It was a wonderful and fun journey. It was that good because it had my whole family.
We are all going on a trip together for the first time in a long time. We reached Pondicherry via train from Chennai. We went to the Pondicherry Botanical Garden and Paradise Beach. Paradise Beach looked very calm and serene. Then we went to the white town, also known as Frech Street.
We saw buildings built in French architecture 200 years ago here. These buildings were built when these areas were under French colonialism. In this town, we can also sample French cuisine. We also visited the archaeological site of Arikamedu and the war memorial built in 1938.
