Subject: Letter complaining about eve teasing in our area.
Sir/Madam,
Through an article in your newspaper, I would like to draw attention towards the issue of eve teasing in our area.
Women as individuals are no less than any man in our society. This is a fact that has been established time and again. It is baffling that some men continue to harass women and think they are powerful by doing so. Eve teasing is one such instance of that. I have seen in my area young men who lavish in such activities of vulgar eve teasing.
I have stopped and scolded them whenever I’ve come across it. But these boys must leave their feudal thinking behind and start to respect women. I request the concerned authorities to take strict action against such people.
The prestigious columns of your newspaper will help this issue reach into light and help people change their thinking and help this issue reach the concerned authorities.
