Subject: Letter regarding the issue of poor public bus service
Sir/Madam,
Through an article in your newspaper, I would like to shed some light and bring awareness to the topic of poor public bus service.
Delhi has a lot of people who travel by bus to their homes, I am one of them. Personally, I am not able to afford a train ticket even if I wanted to. The bus conditions have really gone down nowadays. Firstly, there were hooligans in the bus who were passing comments on every woman that passed.
They didn’t stop until they were threatened to be thrown off the bus. Moreover, the buses were really filthy as well, the paint was coming off and there were all sorts of stains on the seats. Overall, I feel like the services that were offered were really poor compared to the price of the tickets.
I hope the prestigious columns of your newspaper will help this issue reach the concerned audience.
