I hope you and your loved ones are happy and doing well. What else is going on with your studies and school life? Did your school’s cultural programmes get started for this academic year? In my school, the management and teachers have planned a set of cultural programmes for this academic year. It will commence next Friday with the inauguration of the cultural club, followed by a fashion show displaying all the traditional attire of Tamil Nadu. For the fashion show, I dressed up as a typical Tamil farmer. In the following months, there will be more cultural programmes. One such programme will be celebrating Onam at our school, the state festival of Keralam, our neighbouring state. Another programme the club is planning is an ethnic day where we can come to school dressed in our cultural identity. The club is also planning a seminar on the topic “Cultural Diversity of India” for high school students.
