Subject: Application for extension of leave
Sir,
I, Nedumudi Venu, working in the Project Management Department, request you to kindly extend my leave for three days till October 27th. I have been on leave for four days now which I had already informed about.
However, due to bad weather here in Port Blair, the flights have been delayed for two days. I have contacted every possible flight but not even one will fly on its scheduled date. I will now be able to join the office on 29th October instead of October 26th.
Therefore, kindly allow the extension of my leave. I will be responding to e-mails and phone calls. I shall be really appreciative.
