Poverty is still a concern for the world despite how modern the world has become. According to studies, it is said that about 9.2% of the world’s population is suffering from poverty. Equatorial Guinea is a country that is recorded with the highest poverty. Iceland is one of the countries that has the lowest poverty rate. There are many causes for poverty. Some of the main causes would be because of fewer job opportunities, less education, corruption amongst the leaders where the rich become richer and the poor become poorer, etc. We can work together and remove poverty. We can do so by working together in harmony, peace and love. We can open doors for more job opportunities and help our society as we stand united and supportive of one another. Being supportive of one another in a society goes a long way in boosting the economy and other opportunities in the society. We should promote the importance of education wherever we go. Education is the root cause of the immense power that could be generated to remove poverty.
