Collins Dictionary defines the term ‘traffic rules’ to be “rules designed to expedite the flow of traffic and prevent collisions.”
Basic traffic rules include: “Do Not Drink And Drive”, wearing a seatbelt while driving, wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler, not using mobile phones while driving and riding a two-wheeler, using the zebra-crossing while crossing roads by pedestrians, following the speed limit and avoiding rash driving, obeying the traffic signals, leaving way for emergency vehicles (ambulance), and to always be in possession of one’s driving license.
All of these ensure one’s road safety, both physically, and legally.
