The history of computers is one that is very interesting to look at. The first ever computer to be made was invented in the 1820s by Charles Babbage, who is termed the “Father of the Computer.”
From here, the first electronic digital computer was developed between 1940 and 1945 in the US and UK. Unlike modern-day computers, these were mammoth in size, akin to the size of a large room! They also required a supply of a large amount of power source, equivalent to that of several hundred modern personal computers.
With the passage of time, of course, computers have shrunk in size and today are portable with more features.
