‘Necessity is the mother of invention’ is a well-known age old adage. Google defines it to be as follows: “when the need for something becomes essential, you are forced to find ways of getting or achieving it.”
In this sense, to invent something new, especially when is something of a need in the global context, stems from necessity. The invention of medicines perhaps is the most suitable example to cite. Drugs, pills, and tonics, were invented because they were necessary to cure various diseases and illnesses and save lives. Why, Covid-19 vaccines arose for the same!
