Mahabharata is a Sanskrit word. It means Great India. There are two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, one is Mahabharata and the other is R?m?ya?a. in the epic of Mahabharata, the main story revolves around two branches of a family – the Pandavas and Kauravas. The main theme of the epic Mahabhata is the idea of sacred duty.
We see the importance of sacred duty given in the epic. The epic has been studied since time immemorial and has gotten a lot of importance and attention since then. An interesting story is being told in the epic, Mahabharata. Through this story one can learn that a revengeful instinct can only lead to one’s doom.
