A guitar is a musical instrument that has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player’s body and played by strumming. According to research it has been said that guitar originated in Spain early in the 16th century. However, back then it was a plucked string instrument, still is, and had four strings instead of six and was called “vihuela”.
With time grew more modifications and it led to six strings alongside with the modifications made in the shape of the guitar as well. There are a lot of variation in the types of guitar. Some of which are: Classical Guitar, acoustic Guitar, electric Guitar, electro-Acoustic Guitar, bass Guitar, etc. Acoustic guitar is the most popular and widely used all over the world.
