Corruption is a word well-known to the society of today.  It’s defined as being dishonest, conducted by the people in power. The root cause of corruption comes from a lack of transparency, greed, and lack of control by the above authority.

In India, Maharashtra records as the one state that has the biggest case of corruption. Corruption leads to the worst-case scenario and if this is not put to a stop which seems impossible now, it will go on with the upcoming generation and will more or less feel like normal doing.

There are some initiatives in India taken to put into action to fight corruption. These are Right to Information Act, Right to Public Services laws, Anti-corruption laws in India, Anti-corruption police and courts, Civic anti-corruption organisations and 

Electoral reforms.
