An ideal citizen is one that knows his or her rights, respects those rights and puts those into actions. An ideal citizen helps the community to become a better place for others and has to be full of values, principles, and ethics.
In India especially, because religion is taken to utmost importance and with the country being composed of varied religions, an ideal citizen should always respect the rights and religious beliefs of others. To be an ideal citizen is an important task for one to accomplish to make the society and the state into a better place for the working of it.
