  1. Our country’s greatest national hero was Allama Iqbal.
  2. He was born on November 9, 1877, in Sialkoat.
  3. His early education was completed in Sialkoat.
  4. He passed the Murrey College Sialkoat intermediate exam. He thereafter travelled to Lahore for further education.
  5. He then travelled to Germany and England. His doctorate was in philosophy.

On April 21, 1938, he passed away. In Lahore, he was interred close to the Badshahi Mosque.
