Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of time management.
Google defines time management to be “the ability to use one’s time effectively or productively, especially at work.”
Properly executed management of time by appropriately planning beforehand leads to saving time for other purposes. This will also add to submissions of presentations and other workloads promptly, which in turn will improve one’s credibility and respect in the workplace.
Again, it will also do away with the unnecessary stress that accompanies procrastination. Studies have even proven that time management serves to be a boost of confidence as well.
Of course, time management does not pertain to the workplace alone. One must also learn to use time judiciously from a young age, starting from being a student and finishing homework and assignments on time. This will lead to the timely completion of exams as well.
